Dacorum is the largest of all the districts in Hertfordshire with approximately 144,800 people (13% of the total population of the county).
Dacorum incorporates the towns of Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring, the larger villages of Bovingdon, Kings Langley and Markyate and 12 smaller villages of Aldbury, Chipperfield, Flamstead, Flaunden, Great Gaddesden, Leverstock Green, Little Gaddesden, Nash Mills, Nettleden, Potten End, Northchurch, Wigginton and beyond.
The borough borders the Hertfordshire districts of Three Rivers and St Albans; the Buckinghamshire districts of Aylesbury Vale and Chiltern; and Central Bedfordshire and Luton Boroughs.
Dacorum has a wide range of property on offer, from cutting edge modern apartments in the Kodak Image building in Hemel Hempstead Town Centre to town houses and period cottages in the surrounding rural locations.
Property prices in Dacorum are lower than the Hertfordshire average but have been rising steadily and consistently since 2009, yet still offering good value for money due to its excellent quality of life - the result of combining countryside living with great access and close proximity to London and some of the best transport infrastructure in the country.
