A historic arts space delivering great value entertainment for everyone, with inspiring family shows, established and up and coming comedy champions, classic and new films on the big screen, plus an eclectic music programme showcasing international and local talent.

Ride the Ringo Slide! A fantastic fun-filled activity, available for adults and children aged 4 years and older. The Ringo Slide, our NEW real snow slide will see you spinning, slipping and sliding down our custom built slope.
 
Festive Sledging Fun for both Adults & Juniors! No experience required! Whizz, spin and slide down the slope on a Sledge. Can you beat your friends down the slope?
 
Snow Garden Let your little one’s take their first steps on snow! The can whizz and spin down our mini snow slide for 2 – 4 year olds.

The compact version of this stunning annual exhibition displays 17 of the winning images taken by talented photographers from around the globe.

See a selection of the world's best nature photography, revealing the astonishing diversity of life on our planet. This year's competition was the most competitive to date, attracting almost 50,000 entries from professionals and amateurs across 95 countries.  

The winning photographs highlight the variety, majesty and vulnerability of the natural world.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour - Hogwarts in the snow

Saturday 19th November – Sunday 29th January

This festive season, you are invited to experience Christmas time at Hogwarts and discover how film-makers created fire, ice, and snow that never melts as we undergo a magical makeover for Hogwarts in the snow.

Christmas Pudding Walk

Follow the puddings on this way-marked route through the woodland.

A gentle walk for adults through Old Copse then back to meet up with Monument Drive.

Not suitable for small children

Dogs on leads are welcome.

Children's Christmas Trail

Follow the Christmas trail to join Robin as he visits woodland creatures' homes and collect a present at the end.

Our Christmas Robin will be visiting his neighbours in the woods at Ashridge. Come and join him, get your card stamped along the way and collect your Christmas gift at the end.

Ashridge Christmas Mini-Markets

Come along and sample local products from four different stall holders each day before popping into our shop to complete your Christmas shopping.

Local producers have been invited to rent a stall at the visitor centre to display their wares. You are sure to find something of interest. Our shop also stocks a range of holiday-inspired items and sweet treats.

Puddingstone Gin Distillery


Get together with friends for a group tour or join other like-minded gin lovers for a tour of the distillery. Held on Thursday nights we present an insight into the history of gin, Puddingstone Distillery and how we make Campfire Gin. The two hour evening session includes two cocktails from our Campfire Gin menu.

Santa's Pudding Factory - Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead


Bake up a treat with Santa every weekend in his magical Pudding Factory! Learn the secret Pudding dance, decorate your own Pudding decorations and then meet Santa in his Pudding Kitchen- all for FREE!

All the sights and sounds of a wonderful Christmas adventure, with create-and-make activities to take home, a bubble disco, festive magic show and Christmas tales. You can complete the festive experience with a visit to Santa and his elves!*

Come and join us on a magical Christmas adventure as we walk down the starlit street amongst the Mossman collection of carriages on our journey to meet Santa. Along the way say hello to our friendly snowman, create a Christmas ornament to take home and decorate a gingerbread man to eat. Make sure you stop by and create some food for Rudolph in our reindeer food factory and stop by to write a letter to Santa. When you’re feeling tired stop at the Discovery Theatre and watch some festive magic or party in our bubble disco, and for those feeling chilly take in some classic Christmas tales in our Frozen themed story area. Finally, add on a visit to meet Saint Nick himself, in a 20 minute interactive experience with Santa and his elves.*
