Welcome to the May edition of the Business Update newsletter.
Mike Penning MP attended the launch event of this year's Dacorum's Den where he and other judges had the opportunity to meet and greet potential applicants to talk about what they will be looking for this year when deciding who to award the £1000 grants to.
The judges said they would be looking for "passion and drive" and wanted to see that "spark" from someone talking about their business idea. They not only want to know why the money will be a good investment, but what the impact would be for our area as well.
If you would like to know more or apply for a grant please see here.
